WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF PLATE CARRIERS?

• Slick - the sleekest end of the spectrum. Concealable and not meant to bear loads.

• Minimalist/low profile- for carrying only essentials. Holds around 10-25 Ibs.

• Standard- most carriers fall into this category. Usually the best choice for most tactical work. Holds 20-35 Ibs.

• Armor chassis- the biggest and bulkiest PCs for over 35 Ibs. of gear.

What are the sizes of your plate carriers?

Most of our plate carriers come in medium size, few selected ones in small size. Large size is only available through order basis only. Please PM us for further details.

Why are most plate carriers in medium size?

Medium size plates (10" x 12") is universally recognized to provide optimum protection coverage for critical body parts. It's the standard size issued to military.

Why does my 10x12" (250mm x 300mm) plates can not fit standard (medium) size carrier?

Most plate carriers are designed to support 1" (one inch) plate thickness as standard. Some plates particularly level-4 or those with extra padding layer for "floating" function will go beyond 1" thickness. Different plate carriers will have different tolerance level towards this. Buyers should beware.

What are the size considerations for buying a plate carrier?

There are two factors to consider when buying a plate carrier:

1. Size of your waistline and

2. Size of your ballistic plates (own or plan to buy)

SMALL size carriers typically comes with cummerbunds designed for waistlines 31" and below. Plate size supported is ~8.75" x 11.75"

MEDIUM size carriers comes with cummerbunds designed for waistlines 32" to 37".

Plate size supported is ~10" x 12"

LARGE size carriers comes with cummerbunds designed for waistlines 38" and up.

Plate size supported is ~10.25" x 13.25"

Does Chest Rigs have size as well?

No, chest rigs are one size fits all.

Do you carry local issue patterns such as PHILARPAT?

Since all our items are imported, we do not carry items with local patterns.

Do you accept special / BULK orders for the brands you carry?

Yes, we do cater to special orders for customers, provided the item is in-stock with our suppliers.

Requirements:

1. Upon agreement with the price, a 50% down-payment will be required

2. Shipment + customs clearance lead-time will typically be ~1 month from the time order is placed with supplier. We cannot guarantee this in case of any customs clearance delays.

3. Special order with Flyye Industries will require additional ~1 month production time on top of shipping lead time.

4. Exact time of the order placement will be dictated by Blackhog Gears.

What are your return/warranty policy?

- Items can be returned within 7-days from the time it is received. Items has to be brand new and have not been fielded.

- Items to be return has to be free of physical defects. Any defects will automatically void the return/warranty.

- All electronic items (items w/ battery) carries a 2-weeks local store warranty.

- Return item/s needs to be accompanied with proof of purchase, in their original packaging with hang tags and complete accessories.

- Item/s for exchange may be of the same or higher value as the item/s being returned. The price difference must be paid.

- Blackhog Gears reserves the rights to decline any returns after deemed necessary.

Can I refund my order?

We do not allow refund for paid orders except for damaged, out-of-stock, and wrong deliveries.

WHAT TO DO WHEN THERE ARE DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS UPON RECEIVING MY ORDER?

For your protection, we highly recommend recording an unboxing video before opening your package. This video will be required as proof.

Record an Unboxing Video
– Before opening your package, make sure to take a clear unboxing video.
– The video should show the parcel from all sides, the shipping label, the opening process, and the items inside.
– This will serve as solid proof for any claims.
Do Not Throw Away the Packaging
– Keep the pouch/box, bubble wrap, tapes, and any labels.
– These are required by the courier and our team for verification.
Take Clear Photos
– Capture the damaged item(s), the packaging, and the condition of the parcel upon arrival.
Report the Issue Immediately
– Contact us within 24–48 hours upon receiving your order.
– Send the unboxing video, photos, your order number, and a short description of the issue.
Wait for Verification
– Our team will review the proof and coordinate with the courier if needed.
– Once verified, we will process replacement, reshipment, or the appropriate resolution as quickly as possible.
